What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Technician position at Cobblestone Veterinary Hospital?
General duties include keeping cages clean and sanitized; walking, feeding and picking up after the animals. Applicants must be physically active, reliable, compassionate and willing to learn.
- Shifts are in the morning (6:30am-8:30am)and evening(4pm-8pm).
- Great part-time job for those in high school or college.
- Provide fresh food and water to animals.
- Walk dogs on a leash.
- Monitor animals and report any behavior/medical issues.
- Create a medicine chart and mark down patient notes.
- Be comfortable giving oral medications as well as injections.
- ABLE AND WILLING TO WORK HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS.
- Sweep, mop, dust clinic.
- Operate washer/dryer, fold towels, wash dishes.
- Restock cleaning supplies and equipment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.75 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
