About the Job
We are seeking a Maintenace technician to preform various maintenance task ranging from landscaping, clearing roadways of leaves and debris, pool maintenance, building maintenance, plowing and salting roadways throughout the Cobbly Nob Property Owners Community located 11 miles east of Gatlinburg Tennessee. The property spans 26 miles of roadways and 563 acres boarding the Great Smoky Mountains.
This position works directly and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Canidate must have or be willing to meet the following:
- Current and valid driver's license
- Pass background check
- Pass drug test
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
Responsibilities include, but not limited to
- Operating small equipment, tractor, dump truck, chainsaws, pole saws, woodchipper, backpack blowers, lawn equipment, etc.
- Operate plow truck with salt throughout the property during adverse weather conditions. All maintenance employees must report to work to clear the roadways for Emergency Services, homeowners and the Security Department.
- Trimming and removing trees and debris along the roadways.
- Maintenace of all HOA buildings (preventative repairs, repairs, etc.)
- Maintain landscaping around all buildings and HOA amenities.
- Maintaining pools during the pool season by cleaning, checking PH and chemical levels, adding chemicals and making the pool presentable prior to opening for the day.
Work schedule:
- Work schedule varies during May 15 - September 15 due to swimming pool operations.
- Currently a 5-day work week.
- Overtime may be offered/required
- Weekends required during the summer pool season
