ON-CALL CLERK II - COUNTYWIDE (*AMENDED)CLASSIFIED: Position is subject to the provisions of the Merit System Rules pursuant to Arizona Law OPENS: February 28, 2025CLOSES: Position is open until filled with applications reviewed upon receipt, and may close at anytime without notice ANTICIPATED RATE OF PAY: $15.50 - $17.00 hourly, dependent upon qualificationsPLEASE NOTE: All positions require a post offer, pre-employment background screening. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Working knowledge of: business English, spelling, and arithmetic;clerical and office practices and procedures.Working skills in: use of data processing systems and other equipment and machines.Ability to: make mathematical computations with speed and accuracy;maintain records;prepare reports;establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies, and the public;follow written and verbal instructions;read, write and speak English;communicate effectively verbally and in writing.WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is primarily performed under direct supervision. Incumbent generally performs work in a typical office setting with appropriate climate controls. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Essential functions of this position require: lifting, manual dexterity, ability to communicate.Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body; involves sitting majority of time; walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.Mental Application: Utilizes memory for details, verbal instructions, emotional stability, critical thinking, adaptability and creative problem-solving skills are importantReasonable accommodations will be made for those that are able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
