Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Designer/ Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for landscape and sustainable design with the ability to create innovative outdoor spaces that enhance the natural environment. This role involves collaborating with clients and crew leaders to implement landscape and hardscape projects start to finish.
Duties
- Collaborate with the sales team to Develop detailed landscape design plans using software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, Revit, and MicroStation.
- Utilize GIS and ArcGIS technologies to analyze site conditions and create accurate representations of proposed designs.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for outdoor spaces, including gardens, parks, and commercial landscapes.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate soil conditions, topography, climate, and existing vegetation.
- Create sustainable design solutions that prioritize environmental stewardship and resource conservation.
- Prepare presentations and visual materials to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee project implementation by coordinating with contractors/ landscape crew leads and ensuring adherence to design specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques related to landscape architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, CAD software, Revit, MicroStation, GIS, and ArcGIS is essential.
- Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and practices.
- Experience in garden design or landscape construction is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
