Junior Superintendent - Custom Homes

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site to ensure project milestones are met.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication and project execution.

• Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to ensure adherence to design requirements.

• Utilize construction management software, such as Buildertrend and Microsoft Office, for project scheduling, documentation, and communication.

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety and company standards.

• Troubleshoot issues that arise during the construction process and develop forward-thinking solutions.

• Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs, material deliveries, and change orders.

• Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and reflective of company standards.

• Open and close job sites daily while maintaining strict quality control.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2–5 years of residential construction experience (custom homebuilding is a plus).

• Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn Buildertrend or similar project management software.

• Skills: Strong communication, forward-thinking problem-solving, and attention to detail.

• Attributes: Highly organized, adaptable, and proactive in managing tasks and resolving challenges.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: potential for performance-based bonuses.

• Time Off: Two weeks of paid vacation and three sick days annually.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 AM–5 PM, full-time on-site.
