Education/Experience Requirements:
- High school graduate, some college.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management (preferred)
- At least 2-5 years of experience in hotel operations
- Supervisory experience (preferred)
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English (speak, read, write) with guests, management, co-workers and vendors.
- Ability to accurately compute and manipulate mathematical calculations.
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperation and minimum amount of supervision.
- Previous experience in cash handling.
- Computer knowledge in Windows environment as well as proficiency in property management system.
- Experience with cost controls and yield management
- Ability to work a variety of varying schedules.
- Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public.
- Desired Skills/Aptitudes:
- College degree
- Ability to communicate in a second language.

AT-WILL EMPLOYMENT: The relationship between Coconut Waikiki Hotel and the employee is for an unspecified term and is considered “at will”. This means that the terms and conditions of employment may be changed, with or without cause and with or without notice, including , but not limited to termination, demotion, promotion, transfer, compensation, benefits, duties and location of work.
