The eCommerce Producer will be responsible for the end to end production for a large volume client at Industrial Color.  He/she is the contact for all day-to-day production of this account including scheduling resources, booking talent and crew, coordinating shoot logistics, overseeing project deliverables and turnarounds, and managing all production documentation.  The right candidate loves ecommerce production, is extremely detail oriented, a creative thinker, and can manage a high volume of work with a positive attitude.

This role is on site daily in our DTLA studio.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce e-comm on model shoots, product shoots, editorial shoots and castings. 
  • Effectively manage on set production team to ensure productivity goals are met daily.
  • Schedule internal and external resources to ensure production requests are completed on time and on budget.
  • Manage and manipulate databases and workflow applications that will track inbound, in progress and completed work requests.
  • Track assets throughout the production process and ensure timely deliverables.
  • Create and track budgeted expenses with accountability to stay within budget.
  • Maintain inventory control systems that electronically track status of all physical samples that flow through the department.
  • Collaborate with inter and intra-departmental team members to complete both short and long term projects on time and on budget.
  • QC assets throughout the production process before final delivery to the client.
  • Work closely with the Account Manager to handle one off client requests, new workflow initiatives, billing and special projects.
  • Work closely with the Merchandise Manager to plan the shoot schedule for each week - taking into account image due dates, sample timeliness, priority requests, reshoots, etc.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to cast and book talent for upcoming shoots, and ensure proper creative needs are met on set including props, lighting, crew, etc.
  • Work with Grip & Digital teams to confirm all productions have the appropriate resources and on set tools.
  • Propose new solutions and ways of thinking to increase production efficiencies and streamline workflows for the account.  
  • 2-3 years of experience as a photo producer or ecommerce account/project manager.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and expertise in budgeting.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking and time management skills.
  • Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Fluent knowledge of the Macintosh and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience in Excel and Google Suite.
  • Fluent with basic office productivity software (MS Word, email, etc.).
  • Associates degree (Bachelor’s preferred) in visual communications, business or related.
  • Existing network of photography resources a plus (photographers, models, stylists, digital techs, etc.)

The anticipated salary range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 annually. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience, and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
