Local funeral care business seeks Funeral Assistant for Friday-Monday 4:00pm-Midnight:
Coda Care, LLC is a progressive, independently-owned funeral transportation business. Our funeral home clients depend on us for our fast follow-through while providing personable service to their families.
Funeral Assistants are inarguably some of the most important people in the funeral industry. They are the first representatives of a funeral home that the families see. Our goal is to bring a feeling of comfort and care to families in an otherwise difficult time. While doing this, we seek out opportunities to have fun and greatly prioritize teamwork and collaboration with our colleagues. Everyone here has a voice, and the feedback provided is used to motivate decisions and purchases to ensure everyone feels encouraged and supported. As you can tell, this position is very unique and no two days are the same.
This is a driving job and a lot of the work is done solo. Despite this, we are very strongly interconnected as a team. The right person for this position will possess agility and confidence in a quickly shifting environment. They’ll be self-motivated and a quick learner. A keen sense of empathy and a relentless attention to detail are musts, as well as the following:
- Familiarity with driving in various weather and traffic conditions in accordance with local and state laws
- A clean driving record & excellent driving skills with a valid WA state driver’s license
- Reliable transportation to and from our Kent headquarters where we have company vehicles stationed
- Reasonable strength, as this role frequently requires lifting and maneuvering people of all sizes
- Customer service experience
- Familiarity with Google Products, particularly Maps, Calendar, & Hangouts
