Coda is looking for a mature Accounting Professional to support the accounting team and function of a newly acquired business. This is an established company that recently acquired a large cash infusion due to being purchased by a larger company. This role will work closely with the original founder and manage a small team.
Responsibilities
- Planning, implementing and supervising the department financial strategy
- Managing the company’s financial accounts, and assist with payroll, budget, cash receipts and financial assets
- Handling the company’s transactions and debts
- Managing the staff accountants and AP accountants
- Assisting with the financial audit
- Following proper accounting procedures to reach financial objectives
- Monitoring and analyzing financial accounting data
- Creating financial reports based on data analysis
- Making recommendations to business stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5-10 years working in an accounting supervisory function
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
