Controller @ Global Tech Firm

A Boutique Start-Up Tech firm with an awesome culture is building out their NYC operations and seeking a Controller - this professional will be reporting to the C-Suite

Responsibilities:

• Lead accounting department reporting through all G/L, Monthly-Close process, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Billing, Treasury, and Cash Management
• Financial Operations included management of AR and AP, budget preparation and tracking, domestic payroll & benefits administration and oversight, tax registration and compliance, and foreign exchange.
• Oversee all accounting transfers and automatic withdrawals for all bank accounts into accounting software
• Creating and building Monthly Financials - P/L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
• Work closely with other teams on adhoc projects, including supporting financial impact for transactions/merger & acquisition
• Working with external service providers including auditors to assist in completing the annual audits and tax returns.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Economics is a must - strong academic GPA
• 9 years of Experience in Accounting
• CPA preferred
• Strong hands-on professional with GL, P&L
• SaaS Experience Needed

Our client is a total compensation organization where you will be eligible for a base salary and discretionary performance bonus, including benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 - 180,000 plus Equity; depending on experience.
