Job Summary
The Maintenance Team Lead plays a vital role in the organization's maintenance department, overseeing its operations, reporting systems, and personnel management. This individual reports to the Engineering Director and collaborates with the Director of Engineering to manage external contractors and engage external resources. Key responsibilities include:
- Directing maintenance team activities, including preventive and predictive maintenance using eMaintenance CMMS Program.
- Assigning, assisting with, and directing corrective machine and equipment repairs.
- Coordinating PM, Corrective, and Project work activity with Production Departments.
- Developing and implementing corrective actions for repetitive machine failures.
- Managing spare and repair parts required for all maintenance activity with the Inventory Specialist.
Additionally, the Maintenance Team Lead ensures safe work practices are adhered to by the maintenance team, addresses safety concerns within the facility, and promotes good housekeeping practices throughout the facility. This salaried/exempt role requires flexibility and ability to recognize instances requiring attendance or coordination with maintenance craftsmen outside normal working hours.
