Coda Search is partnering with a publicly traded, multi-faceted consumer services company with $400M in revenue and a global presence spanning over 2,000 employees. As the company continues to expand, they are seeking a Manager of Financial Technical Accounting to oversee accounting policy, technical accounting pronouncements, and M&A integrations.
This is a highly visible role, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership while managing a small team and driving key process improvements and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the firm’s accounting policy, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and evolving financial regulations
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and new accounting pronouncements (e.g., ASC 606, ASC 842)
- Oversee the integration of newly acquired entities into the parent company’s financial reporting structure
- Supervise and mentor a small team, fostering professional development and efficiency
- Drive process improvements and establish best practices for accounting procedures
- Partner closely with senior leadership to manage key projects and business initiatives
- Support internal and external audits, preparing and reviewing audit documentation
Qualifications:
- 6 years of accounting experience, with a strong foundation in technical accounting
- Prior public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred)
- CPA required
- Strong consolidation and financial reporting experience
- Proven ability to improve processes and implement core accounting procedures
- Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills
- Prior supervisory experience required
Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
