Coda Search is excited to partner with a fast-growing, innovative electric manufacturing company in Stamford, CT. With over $100M in revenue and continuous, record-breaking growth year-over-year, this company is expanding and looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who has around 4 years of experience and is comfortable handling and leading the month-end close process and reviewing weekly cash management activities.
What You'll Do:
- Month-End Close Ownership: Oversee month-end close processes, managing all items on the balance sheet and income statement.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial statements working closely with the Controller
- GL Management: Take charge of the General Ledger, performing reconciliations and handling adjusting journal entries
- Accounts Receivable Review: Oversee AR activity managing cash receipts and cash deposits
- Variance Analysis: Conduct monthly variance analysis, providing detailed reporting and actionable insights to help drive business improvements.
- Process Improvement Initiatives: Drive continuous improvement across the accounting team
- Annual Audit: Assist with the annual audit, preparing supporting documentation and collaborating closely with auditors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong proficiency with Excel, including advanced formulas (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) for data analysis and reporting.
- 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a passion for diving into data and uncovering insights
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
