Our client is a premier Alternative Investment Firm head quartered in NYC, seeking to add a VP to their Corporate Development / Strategic Finance team. The role focuses on analyzing & executing on major strategic, operational, and strategic growth opportunities and collaborating with Global Head with regards to solution oriented progress.
Primary duties and responsibilities
- The role entails leading special projects, crafting senior-level presentations, conducting analysis, developing strategic decision-making models and driving change within the business
- Partner with business leaders to develop and track KPIs and leading indicators aligned with business and corporate objectives
- Source and screen prospective investors and strategically partner with internal sales team
- Manage Client Service efforts by working strategically with internal and external team to accomplish goal
- Produce multi-year plans and forecasts; create and analyze business metrics and identify cost savings opportunities; and deliver economic insight into the relationships between costs and revenues to improve the financial success of the business going forward
- Prepare and deliver compelling and visually effective financial presentations
- Assist in review of potential new investments, including research into new markets
- Develop strategic and analytical frameworks for business development efforts
- Formalize and implement a business plan and strategy to introduce firm to new investors
- Attend meetings, industry events, and conferences with PM’s to meet with potential investors and to represent the firm
- Prepare & present due diligence findings to investment committees, Senior Management and Firm Clients.
