The Opportunity :
An independently-owned global logistics company and leader in supply chain solutions and global trade compliance is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant to join their team.
Responsibilities :
- Process G&A and operational expenses, ensuring accurate coding and timely vendor payments
- Manage vendor payments, customer adjustments, and account reconciliations
- Monitor payments, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with relevant departments
- Record payments in the general ledger and support payment processing
- Manage accounting communications, resolve issues, and prepare adjustments
- Handle treasury tasks, including ACH / wire transactions, bank reconciliations, and daily reports
- Assist with month-end close, accruals, financial reporting, and analyses
- Support system improvements and project-related accounting tasks
