Who you’ll be working with

We build the solutions dreamed up by the product and design teams. Our goal is to deliver working software every two weeks. We are a large team that spans across three global offices, but we collaborate and integrate front- and back-end components and interfaces to provide a user-centered experience through web and mobile platforms.

What you’ll be doing

• Directly reporting and collaborating closely with the Managing Director of Engineering and Product Development
• Guiding engineers on enterprise technologies and solutions
• Facilitating and leading client project scope discussions with the ability to understand and articulate the business impact of proposed solutions
• Leveraging new and emerging technologies to fulfill project requirements and business objectives
• Mapping project requirements to technical tasks for the engineering team
• Writing and reviewing software code
• Writing client-readable technical architecture documentation
• Enforcing development best practices with the engineering team – proper code branching, code reviews, unit tests, and environment setup
• Leading all phases of software development including design, development, testing, and support
  
  

What you’ll need to be successful

• Seven (7) years of hands-on development experience in one or more of the following languages/frameworks: React/Angular, OR Node/Next.js, OR Python/Django
• Experience managing a team of software engineers at all levels
• Hands-on development and deployment experience in AWS or Azure using server less functions or EC2
• Experience with RESTful & GraphQL APIs
• Familiarity with cloud-based logging, monitoring, and security tools
  
  

Bonus Points for these

• Familiarity with Micro services architectures
• Familiarity with dev tools such as Github, Jira, CFT, Terraform
• Has DB experience with relational or noSQL such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redshift, MongoDB, Redis
  
  

Benefits and Salary

• $140,000.00- $250,000.00
