Meat Cutting Technician

Overview:

Do you have a passion for smoked meat and BBQ? Do you want to work in a fun environment where everyone loves their job? Code 1 BBQ is like Cheers, where everyone comes to feel home when they get their BBQ, and we know everyone's name. We need meat cutters and pit assistants to help us create amazing daily smoked meats for our awesome customers and fans and work alongside our co-owner and pitmaster Sean. The ideal candidate has experience in food production, meat cutting, and food safety practices, but we are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cut cooked meat products according to customer orders
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all meat products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cutting area
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries and fulfilling orders promptly
- Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines at all times
- Assisting the Pitmaster on the Pit
- Fire Management and food safety practices

Ideal Requirements:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting
- Proficiency in the use of knives
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
- Flexibility with hours
