Unarmed Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to various situations, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems.
• Enforce rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all individuals on site.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting investigations as necessary.
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism and de-escalation techniques.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities and incidents.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when required.
• Conduct loss prevention measures to minimize theft and damage.
• Ensure all security equipment is functioning properly, including CCTV systems.

Skills

• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
• Experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
• Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques.
• Proficiency in operating surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• On call
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed
