Summer Camp Coordinator

Code Ninjas Trumbull and Fairfield are looking for an energetic and passionate Summer Camp Coordinator to help conduct week-long camps in Coding, 3D Printing and Other STEAM activities to join our fun, energetic, strong team and help us facilitate programs inside our Center. This role also includes collaborating with instructors and the owner to maintain high-quality programming and promoting additional Code Ninjas programs to parents. All required training will be provided.

We have two seperate positions. One in Fairfield and one in Trumbull

Job Type: Part Time

Code Ninjas has put together an amazing program so you don’t need to be a coder yourself, but you must love kids. You may have worked as a summer camp counselor, been a teacher or worked with kids ages 5-14. You will be the culture curator that ensures this happens. The Senseis (tutors) we hire are brilliant high school and college students who have a passion for STEM based curriculum. Coordinators that work with them need to have a similar passion.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Daily Operations: Prepare for drop-offs and pick-ups, monitor camper engagement, and communicate updates to parents.
• Programming: Collaborate with instructors to deliver engaging, educational STEM activities. Modify lesson plans to meet individual needs and lead end-of-camp celebrations.
• Facility Management: Keep the center clean and organized; maintain equipment and supplies.
• Administrative Tasks: Respond to parent inquiries, manage camp materials, and schedule promotional content.
• Sales: Promote and upsell camps and programs to parents during drop-off/pick-up.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
