What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Manager - Glenview position at Code Ninjas?
Code Ninjas is looking for an energetic and engaging Summer Camp Manager for our coding center in Glenview! This individual will be responsible to perform a variety of daily tasks to manage our summer camp operations, including communication, resources, activities, quality, and safety of our campers. This individual will be the face of Code Ninjas camps!
Role is from late-May through mid-August 2024
Role Expectations
- Serve as an ambassador of Code Ninjas, demonstrating our mission and values in a positive and professional manner and acting as a role model for the Ninjas
- Be the operational and administrative lead for Summer Camps
- Commit to building a safe, child-focused camp environment
- Actively enngage in activities and camp curriculum
- Provide excellent customer service to camp families to ensure a professional, positive, and memorable experience
- Demonstrate Professional attitude and appearance
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Good interpersonal skills – treat others with courtesy and respect
- Solid written and verbal communication skill
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Team player with ability to mentor and coach camp counselor
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School graduate; College preferred
- Able to fill role expectations (see above)
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Experience working with kids or in a camp setting
- Ambitious, energetic, and team-player
- Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Job Hours
- 8AM-4PM Monday-Friday
- Mid-May through Mid-August
- Perfect for School Teachers and College Students!
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
