SecOps Engineer

We're exclusively hiring for the Security Operations team at an exceptional and profitable AI product company. This is a unique opportunity that requires both SecOps and software engineering skillsets.

• This role is 5 days/week onsite in either NYC, San Francisco, or Mountain View, CA
• No visa sponsorship because of FedRAMP requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the strategic development and execution of the organization's Security

Operations Program

• Ensure that our detections, alerts, and responses stay up-to-date and properly

reflect the risk to our business

• Co-own and manage security incidents, providing technical leadership and

coordination across teams to ensure timely response and resolution

• Automate where you can, when you can

• Develop automated solutions that scale (i.e SIEM, EDR, SOAR, etc)

Ideal Person:

• US Citizen

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a Security Operations program

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in Python, PowerShell, Golang, Bash, and/or Java

• Hands-on experience working with SIEM (Security Information Event

Management) and EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response) solutions

• Experience with cloud infrastructure like AWS, GCP, and/or Azure (including

Kubernetes)

• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills

• Experience learning from incidents and implementing lessons

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as receptive listening

skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical

and non-technical audiences.
