Job Description
Do you have a passion for Minecraft modding and creating Roblox games? Are you excited at the prospect of working with a small team in a fun, collaborative environment? This position offers you the chance to impact kids’ lives in a fun and enriching way! Join a passionate and creative team here at Code Wiz as we teach kids vital game development skills.
Coaches work to support a small group of kids in their individual coding journey, supervising students' progress on established projects. Coaches are the reason a student will come back and sign up for more classes and camps. Coaches will always be mindful of each student, making sure they are fully participating and are engaged.
Specific Job Responsibilities
- Use the curriculum to lead small groups of 2-5 children in their lessons and projects
- Run trial and demo classes
- Discuss and Record student's progress and respond to parents' queries
- Maintain a high quality of team performance
Skills Required
- Experience with MCreator and Roblox Studio
- Knowledge of Python and Java
- Teaching Experience and working with kids in a camp, tutoring, or after-school program preferred
- Charisma and the ability to function independently
Requirements:
- In-person shifts Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 4-7pm and Saturdays from 10am to 2pm onsite at our North Edison Location
- Can pass basic skills coding exam in either Python or Java
- Must be able to drive to the center and be available on short notice

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.59 - $18.79 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 9 per week
