Position Overview

ETL Developer & Tester

Role and responsibilities:

• Exposure to ETL development and associated tools, preferably on Databricks
• Experience with writing SQL, JSON, Python, and YAML scripts
• Experience with Data Ingestion, Data Transformation, and Data Validation
• Experience in unit-testing data ingestion, loading, and transformation processes
• Exposure with Data Governance, Data Modelling and Source to Target Mapping
• Exposure with cloud-computing infrastructures (AWS)
• Exposure to data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI

Job Qualifications:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields
• 2 years of experience with data warehousing and/or large and complex database management systems
• Experience with relational and dimensional data modeling and database design skills
• Experience using ETL tools and ETL development
• Exposure to version control tools like Github
• Experience with Data Analysis, Data driven decision making, and extracting insights from data
• Strong written/verbal communication skills
• Must have the ability to learn fast, investigate complex business problems, develop effective recommendations, present solutions, and resolve problems in a highly professional and tactful manner.
