What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist position at CodeForce?
We are a complete Cath Lab utilizing Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, a General Surgeon, and a Nephrologist. We provide complete Cardiac and Peripheral Services in Southwest Oklahoma. We have a Cardio Thoracic Team in Surgery. The procedures include : Left Heart Cath, Right and Left Heart Cath, PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, and Atherectomy. Carotid diagnostic and stenting. Peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures including Atherectomy. Pacemaker Insertion, Tilt Table Test, Kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostic, stent, and thrombectomy. The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist is to work an 8-hour day shift and rotate call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Be proficient in the various devices used in the Cath Lab, such as setting up the Philips Laser System, the IVUS System, and various coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices. We have two Siemens Artis Zee Cath Lab rooms. We have the McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and the Mckesson Hemodynamic System. Be proficient in imaging including the various movements of the C Arm during the procedures, providing paper images for the physicians and transferring images onto a CD. We use the Allscripts EMR for charging out supplies and exam codes, which the Rad Tech is responsible for. Assist with transportation of our patients to and from the Cath Lab. Assist with getting the patient on and off the exam table. Assist with the pre and post procedure processes for the patients. Assist with daily inventory to include stickering the items and putting the items in the proper shelves and drawers. Must have a current ARRT certification. Must have a current BLS certification.
Shift : 8-hour day shift, rotating call during the evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
