About Codemoji:
Codemoji offers an innovative summer coding camp for private elementary schools nationwide. Our program blends digital learning with engaging hands-on activities—such as unplugged exercises, robotics, and circuit board projects—to inspire young learners and spark their interest in technology.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic instructor to lead our summer coding curriculum for elementary students. Codemoji provides all lesson plans and materials, so no prior coding experience is necessary. Ideal candidates have at least two years of classroom teaching experience, understand best practices for student engagement, and are punctual and organized.

Instructors should have access to a laptop for use during each program session, as much of the curriculum is digital. Students will each have their own computers to participate in the lessons. Comfort with navigating Google applications and troubleshooting basic technical issues, such as Wi-Fi connectivity, is essential.

Program Schedule:

• July 14th – 18th: 9 AM – 4 PM
• July 21st – 25th: 9 AM – 5 PM

Responsibilities:

• Arrive before each session begins and stay until all students are picked up or school protocols are met.
• Review lesson plans, test robots/circuit boards, and familiarize yourself with program materials in advance. Our Curriculum Designer will be available for support and onboarding before your first session.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters student curiosity and confidence.
• Follow school guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe and structured classroom experience.
• Complete all required HR clearance steps, including a background check.
