We are looking for a Front-End Developer with proven Shopify experience to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building and customizing Shopify stores and understands the latest advancements in Shopify’s ecosystem.
In this role, you will work with our existing Shopify template to build stores across a variety of ecommerce verticals. You will also be responsible for modifying and improving the template over time, ensuring it remains flexible, scalable, and aligned with Shopify’s latest technology updates.
You will work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to different Shopify stores, pages, and components. Some projects will require collaborating closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders, while others will involve taking ownership of tasks and executing them with minimal oversight.
This role requires attention to detail and familiarity with Shopify’s latest features, including Theme Blocks, Metaobjects, and Online Store 2.0 enhancements. You will be expected to stay ahead of Shopify’s evolving platform updates and implement best practices accordingly.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and customize Shopify stores using our template, adapting it for different industries and business needs.
- Modify and improve our Shopify template over time, enhancing its flexibility, performance, and feature set.
- Develop and refine individual Shopify components and pages, ensuring consistency across different projects.
- Work both independently and as part of a team, handling complete store builds or contributing to specific components and features.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify’s latest technology updates, including Theme Blocks, Metaobjects, Online Store 2.0, and Metafields, applying them to store builds and template updates.
- Translate Figma designs into responsive, pixel-perfect Shopify themes.
- Implement Shopify Sections, Blocks, and Customizer settings for dynamic, easy-to-manage storefronts. Requirements: Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Optimize store performance by applying best practices for CSS, asset loading, and theme development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues related to layout, styling, and interactions.
- Ensure cross-browser and mobile responsiveness for all Shopify storefronts.
- Work closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution across multiple projects
Requirements:
- Proven experience building and launching Shopify stores, including full store setups across multiple e-commerce verticals.
- Strong proficiency in CSS and SCSS (Tailwind experience is a plus but not required).
- Experience with Liquid and Shopify’s Online Store 2.0 framework (JSON templates, Sections, Blocks, and Metafields).
- Experience working with and maintaining Shopify theme templates, ensuring adaptability across various store builds
- Up-to-date knowledge of Shopify’s latest theme development tools, including Theme Blocks, Shopify CLI, and new customizer features.
- Understanding of typography, spacing, and design hierarchy in e-commerce UI/UX.
- Experience working with Figma or other design tools to bring mockups to life. Ability to troubleshoot and debug CSS/layout issues quickly and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality, polished storefronts.
- Ability to provide live store examples or code samples demonstrating Shopify work.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with basic front-end animations, such as CSS animations, transitions, and simple JavaScript-based interactions (e.g., GSAP, Framer Motion, or native web animations).
- Experience with JavaScript for Shopify development (e.g., small interactions, Shopify AJAX API).
- Familiarity with Shopify apps, third-party integrations, and Shopify Plus features.
- Understanding of e-commerce best practices for UX/UI, performance, and conversion optimization.
