This position will:
- Ensure alignment with the State of Michigan (SOM) project management methodology (SUITE), investment management, and systems engineering methodology.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project plans, timelines, and roadmaps.
- Prepare and distribute clear, concise status reports detailing progress, risks, and key milestones.
- Organize and manage project documentation, key performance indicators (KPIs), and deliverables.
- Schedule and coordinate project meetings to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
- Manage action items, resources, and interdependencies to promote team alignment.
- Act as a liaison between the Project Manager, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate workgroup meetings, provide backup support to the Project Manager, and develop communication materials.
- Keep stakeholders informed of project updates, risks, and changes in a timely manner.
- Assign and monitor tasks, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Oversee resource allocation and maintain budget tracking.
- Conduct bi-weekly Time View timesheet audits and collaborate with Resource Managers on adjustments as needed.
- Identify and escalate risks and issues while maintaining an up-to-date risk log.
- Develop action plans to address risks and resolve issues effectively.
- Support project teams in completing SUITE documentation in alignment with the Tailoring Plan.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and assist in managing scope changes.
- Conduct impact analyses for schedule and budget adjustments and support the submission of Change Requests.
