Senior Business Analyst – Data
NATURE AND SCOPE :
The Senior Business Analyst – Data drives, supports, and enables change through process improvement and the delivery of technology solutions. This role leads project initiation, process design, requirements gathering, functional design, and testing phases. As a key relationship manager, the Senior Business Analyst – Data collaborates with business stakeholders and works closely with team members to ensure projects and solutions meet business objectives. The Senior Business Analyst – Data reports to the Director of Data Engineering.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of Information Technology Business Analyst experience, including both project delivery and support roles. Experience with data-related projects is required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Strong understanding of data management, databases, reporting tools, and data extract files.
- Experience developing project scope and requirements; translating business needs into functional and non-functional requirements or user stories, including acceptance criteria and traceability through the full project lifecycle.
- Proven experience in test management, planning, and execution.
- Strong facilitation and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with multiple project delivery methodologies, including Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall.
- Experience with process flow development and process reengineering.
- Excellent relationship management and customer service skills.
