Location: Denver Metro Area (75% Remote, occasional in-office presence)
Our client, a well-established Aerospace company in the Denver Metro Area, is seeking a Senior Analyst to join their Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This is a critical role within the company’s Finance department, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of FP&A.
The Senior Analyst will contribute to various FP&A functions, including budget management, financial reporting, and system integrations. This role is ideal for someone with at least 2-3 years of experience in FP&A or related finance analytics roles.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and manage financial reports and dashboards, leveraging tools like Power Query and Power BI.
- Assist with integrating financial data from NetSuite, Salesforce, and other ERPs, ensuring seamless workflow and accuracy.
- Maintain budget templates and input systems, ensuring they align with the company’s financial goals and strategy.
- Collaborate with senior leaders across different segments to provide actionable insights and financial support.
- Take a hands-on approach to analyzing financial data, reports, and segment-specific performance metrics.
- Manage hierarchical data models and administer Vena to ensure efficient reporting and forecasting processes.
- Support the annual budget process, providing timely and accurate information for decision-making.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in Financial Analysis
- Vena Growth Engine experience
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
- Experience with reporting and integration systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Power BI
- Strong accounting background and understanding of financial statements.
- Experience in aviation, manufacturing or adjacent industries is preferred
- A solid understanding of government contracting or similar regulatory environments is beneficial.
