The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing financial performance, supporting strategic initiatives, and enhancing reporting and forecasting capabilities. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with data analytics tools like Power BI or SQL and be comfortable building complex queries and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and analyze financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning
- Partner with project managers and operations to provide financial insights and performance tracking on active jobs
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, dashboards, and KPIs for senior leadership
- Build and optimize SQL queries and Power BI dashboards for real-time financial and operational insights
- Analyze job costs, margins, variances, and financial trends to identify risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with accounting during month-end close to ensure accurate job costing and reporting
- Evaluate capital expenditures, equipment utilization, and return on investment for strategic decision-making
- Support external audits and internal compliance requirements as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within construction, heavy equipment, or manufacturing
- Proficiency with financial systems and tools; strong Power BI and/or SQL skills required
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Viewpoint Vista, Sage, JD Edwards, or similar)
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to synthesize complex data

Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
