Assistant Director of Admission
Coe College seeks qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Director of Admission. This position is responsible for fulfilling the recruitment goals of the college by identifying, cultivating and maintaining relationships with prospective students, families, and stakeholders. This position will seek commitments of prospective first year and transfer students in attending Coe College through the parameters defined by the Office of Admission.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Recruit students in an effort to achieve overall recruitment goals, effectively managing recruitment territory including outreach to prospective students, their families, guidance counselors, alumni and other key constituents
- Represent Coe College at public events such as high school visits and college fairs
- Create/maintain extensive follow-up contact with prospective students
- Review first-year and transfer student applications
- Conduct interviews with prospective students and their families
- Communicate the qualities of a Coe education to key stakeholders such as parents and guidance counselors, in addition to students
- Prioritize multiple projects in addition to direct recruitment activities
- Some travel in the fall and spring
- Create/maintain extensive follow-up contact with prospective students through various modes of communication
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1-2 years of admission experience desired Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic communication (text, email, social media)
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States as visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States as we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
- Successful completion of a background check in accordance with Coe College policy.

- Extensive travel, evenings and weekends required
- Ability to drive to and meet with students in various locations and at various events
