THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
- Love to get their hands dirty, be known as a “gearhead”,
- Be a self-starter, able to complete tasks using their knowledge and skill,
- Have some experience working in a shop environment.
- Be hungry to learn and grow.
THE BENCH HAND WILL:
- Tap and deburr machining parts
- Generate a work order for each stock run and/or part.
- Stamp the part/print number on each part.
- Counting each part to ensure accurate inventory count on the work order.
- Tag each part and check for job routing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma, vocational training preferred
- Minimum of 1 year working in a shop environment.
- Ability to read blueprints preferred but not required.
