THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL :
Identify actions necessary to achieve task completion and to obtain results, meet schedules, deadlines, and performance goals.
Prioritize and complete tasks in order to deliver desired outcomes within allotted time frames.
Initiate and sustain momentum without external stimulation
Establish a process for activities that lead to the implementation of systems, procedures or outcomes.
Identify long range goals and design plans to attain them while evaluating future implications of current decisions and actions.
THE SERVICE ENGINEER WILL :
Design and detail electrical and mechanical equipment upgrades and retrofits
Quote used machine retrofits from equipment purchased by Coe Press Equipment
Install and upgrade control systems including all required PLC, PC, HMI, safety, and communication hardware.
Install industrial control systems hardware for use with PLC control systems, drive sizing, component sizing, and control hardware specification and selection
REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in an engineering field (e.g. mechatronics, mechanical, industrial, process, electrical, software, automation etc.) and / or 3 years’ experience in industrial applications, preferably heavy equipment design or metal stamping strongly preferred.
Strong experience with, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar CAD software.
Strong experience with SolidWorks 3D modeling software
Experience with industrial control equipment : relays, power supplies, PLCs, IO cards, PCBs, etc., working knowledge of Allen Bradley Controls
Basic understanding of mechanical and pneumatic machines and how controls interact with them.
Experience working independently, as well as working in a team-orientated and fast-paced startup-like environment.
