We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team and help oversee projects from inception to completion.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and executing residential construction and remodeling projects.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and support cost control efforts.
- Assist in obtaining necessary permits, inspections, and approvals for projects.
- Conduct site visits to ensure work is being performed according to specifications and company standards.
- Maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Assist in resolving on-site issues and provide proactive problem-solving support.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in residential construction, remodeling, or project management.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software, Google and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of local building codes and permit requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project demands.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
