About the Role
As the Customer Service Account Manager, you will develop, prospect, and sell R.A Jones Customer Service products (parts, modernization, service and training), capture and define customer requests, communicate requirements, sell the solution to the customer and close profitable business.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage Customer Service sales campaigns for R.A Jones
- Clearly define and communicate customer requirements and specifications internally to insure timely and effective solutions, cost build-ups and proposals
- Identify and sell Customer Service Solutions including parts, modernization, service, training, audits and other products that are provided by R.A Jones
- Generate accurate sales forecast to give the organization a clear understanding of future business.
- Manage commercial aspects of the order, including order acknowledgement, resolution of open issues, invoicing, collection of payments and customer changes.
- Utilize experience, education, technical and product knowledge to develop and close profitable business in line with corporate goals
- Acts as the technical expert to the customer for R.A Jones Customer Service products
- Prospects and penetrates assigned accounts independently
- Serve as the key member of the project team to insure customer expectations are met
- Other duties as assigned
What You Need to Be Successful
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combined experience with an emphasis on technical selling.
- Demonstrated sales effectiveness with track record of consistent goal achievement and sales revenue growth.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Able to interact will all levels of employees, management, and external customers.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required to meet assigned targets (50% to 80%)
- Technical knowledge of packaging equipment or related industry.
- Understanding of commercial terms and ability to negotiate and resolve commercial issues with customers.
- Ability to present and communicate After Sales products, services, and offerings with technical confidence.
- Ability to develop creditability with customers, reviewing equipment, and advising customers in their environment.
- Computer skills – Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
