Seasonal Server - Blu Inifinity Pool at the Coeur d' Alene Resort

Job Summary

Summer seasonal, short-term position available. Exceed guests' expectations by providing a high standard of service. Respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction. Sell and suggest all the unique items offered at the Blu Infinity Pool based on product knowledge.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for prompt, courteous and attentive service to the Guest.
• Take orders and deliver food in a timely manner.
• Quality check tables through service.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized appearance of the pool seating areas, work stations, and liquor rooms.
• Responsible for checking guest identification to ensure minimum legal drinking age.
• Maintain service stations stock throughout each shift.
• Must have a working knowledge of the menu in order to sell products.
• Knowledgeable of all Hagadone Hospitality operations in order to cross sell.
• Work as a team player and help each other throughout your shift.
• Accountable for all sales, strong math and money handling skills
• Handle payment transactions - case, credit cards, room charge, gift cards

• Maintain a neat and tidy appearance of each table.
• Deal with customer difficulties as they arise.
• Understand that this is a seasonal, outdoor environment - shifts are subject to be cut short or extended with short notice
• Ability to drive golf cart respectfully and safely in and out of the presence of Guests and Coworkers
• Complete daily checklist to expected level of satisfaction
• Ability to arrive to work on time
• Take out trash, ice runs, stock runs as necessary
• Assist with any and all necessary towel duties
• Assist Guests with setting up their chair covers, moving umbrellas and other pool area equipment
• Report any malfunctions immediately to Supervisor
• Regular restroom cleanliness checks
• Must be at least 19 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Capacity to stand for up to seven hours at a time.
• High level of verbal and social skills.
• Display a confident personal presence.
