Reporting to the Senior Director of Investor Relations, the Manager, Investor Relations, will be a key contributor to the investor relations function. We are searching for a driven finance professional with strong attention to detail who is interested in a career with a growing metals and mining organization.
Please note, this role will be based in our Chicago, Illinois Headquarters. Remote work is not supported.
Responsibilities
- Manage the quarterly earnings process, including the collection and development of the release content, conference call presentation and release distribution
- Manage the re-development of the Company’s primary investor presentation slide deck, maintain presentation to ensure timeliness and accuracy
- Manage preparations around investor conferences, investor days, road shows, site tours, earnings calls, and other IR events
- Perform research and analytics around industry trends and peer performance metrics as well as other ad hoc analytics for presentation to the board and senior management
- Develop a thorough understanding of the financial models and assumptions used by research analysts to value the Company and its peers; use this knowledge to improve the efficacy of the Company's communications to the investment community
- Develop and perform regular analysis of shareholder base and prepare cogent collateral materials for board and management use
- Assist in responding to ad hoc investor and analyst inquiries
- Prepare internal reports and updates on company and peer stock price performance and analyst research coverage
- Monitor ongoing operational performance through internal contacts and assist in developing investor relations messages based on this performance
- Manage the investor relations portion of the company website along with maintaining the corporate information section of the corporate website, including posting news releases and ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate
- Maintain investor relations departmental budget
- Oversee relationships with key IR vendors and external partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent
- Approximately 5 years of experience in investor relations, investment banking, finance, or public accounting
- Deep understanding of corporate finance and accounting functions
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of financial modeling
- Must be extremely organized and able to multi-task
- Personable demeanor with ability to quickly build new relationships
- Core proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel is essential
- Experience using FactSet, Ipreo and Workiva a plus
The salary range offered for this role is USD $115,000-130,000 range. The salary range is a good-faith estimate. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Coeur Mining will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Coeur Mining.
