Job Description:
As an Administrative Assistant/Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a variety of administrative tasks and supporting payroll functions. This includes answering phone calls, preparing reports, processing payroll, and ensuring office operations run efficiently. Your strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proactive approach will contribute to the success of our team and clients. This role offers the opportunity to be a resourceful problem solver and make a positive impact on both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls, respond to emails, and handle inquiries in a professional manner.
- Order and manage office supplies, ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing.
- Assist with data entry, report generation, and other clerical tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
- Accurately process payroll, including working hours, paid time off (PTO), overtime, bonuses, and commissions.
- Handle payroll-related inquiries from client contacts.
- Maintain and update employee records, including new hires, terminations, and salary changes.
- Assist with audits and prepare payroll-related reports as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, office administrator, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams.
- Professional demeanor with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
