Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator / Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating residential new construction, remodels, decks, lite commercial & service work.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the estimation process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure competitive pricing.
- Utilize Bluebeam software for estimating and cost control.
- Analyze project requirements, specifications, and drawings to determine accurate pricing.
- Collaborate with the install team to develop comprehensive bids.
- Create a detailed Scope of Work for each project.
- Monitor construction site progress to adjust estimates and change orders as needed.
- Review and interpret contracts to ensure compliance with pricing agreements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Construction estimating techniques and software
- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable pricing.
- Experience in building accurate estimates for construction projects.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
