CoFactor Recruitment is partnered with an early stage biotech startup in the bay area. We are looking for an Associate Scientist – Antibody Discovery to join the team and assist with the discovery, engineering, and characterization of novel antibodies.
Responsibilities:
Position responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
· Construct yeast surface display or other display technology of immunized and AI-enabled synthetic library
· Perform transient transfections
· Keep detailed and organized records of experiments
· Present data at weekly group meetings
Qualifications:
· BS/MS in biology/biochemistry/microbiology or related field, preferably with 3 years of relevant industry experience
· Good critical thinking skills
· Previous experience in the biopharma industry
· Experience in mammalian cell culture and transfections
· Experience with protein expression and purification
· Experience with flow cytometry
· Experience with ELISA
· Experience with SDS-PAGE & Western blotting
Salary : $90,000 - $115,000
