Our busy successful and growing Law Firm seeks a personable, intelligent, and diligent Spanish speaking Intake Coordinator to manage our potential new client pipeline. Our Intake Coordinator is a key player in our law firm. They are the first point of contact for potential new clients. They collect and analyze important information to determine if further action is required. This position involves speaking with potential new clients who are looking for legal representation. The ideal candidate would be hard working, organized, detailed oriented, self-motivated, understanding, and patient. Strong communication skills are essential. Familiarity with Clio case management program platform a plus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but may not be limited to the following):
- Create a positive and professional first impression on behalf of the firm.
- Assist prospective clients by collecting information, answering questions, and relaying messages.
- Vet legal claims of prospective clients.
- Prepare new client files.
- Schedule appointments and assist clients with electronic signatures.
- Enter files and other client information into Clio.
- Provide intake reports to supervisor as requested.
- Initiating phone calls in response to electronic inquiries.
- Accurately gathering detailed, fact-specific information about potential cases.
- Explaining to potential clients the our services offered.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- We hire for character first and foremost
- Legal background preferred, but not required.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Clio experience a plus
- Proficiency with computers, telephone lines, and other related office equipment
- Professional attitude and presentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent planning and reporting skills
- Excellent organizational skills
