Salary : $120K -$150K

We're seeking a talented Platform Product Owner to lead the development of well-architected platforms. As a Platform Product Owner, you will define product vision, collaborate with development and business stakeholders, and drive the development of core application platforms that empower our developers and accelerate the delivery of value to our customers and business.
As the Platform Developer you will…
Collaborate with development teams and product owners to establish a clear vision for our common / core application platforms. You will create and maintain a prioritized product roadmap, review, and prioritize features, accept, or reject development work, and develop and execute release plans.
Ensure that the platform's technical direction aligns with the overall business strategy by prioritizing features based on technical feasibility and business value.
Collaborate with scrum teams to promote platform adoption and enforce adherence to guidelines, ensuring consistency and best practices. Additionally, you will effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Drive continuous improvement by leveraging learning tools, researching new technologies, and proposing solutions. You will actively seek feedback and attend conferences, workshops, and webinars to stay up to date with industry trends.
Desired Characteristics & Skills :
- Understanding of business acumen and how the core / common technology and software platforms fit into the broader business context.
- Ability to articulate a clear product vision and inspire teams.
- Confidence in making informed decisions.
- Clear understanding of software architecture and design patterns to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code, fostering code clarity, ease of modification, and future extensibility.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills by efficiently identifying, dissecting, and resolving complex technical challenges, delivering effective solutions.
- Comprehensive full-stack development expertise, encompassing proficiency in both front-end (Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end development (C#) alongside a strong understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), facilitating potential future migration and integration for enhanced scalability and efficiency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to facilitate collaborative discussions with development teams to ensure alignment with department best practices and guidelines.
- Proactively identify and address potential deviations from best practices with development teams.
- Mentor and coach development teams on the rationale behind department guidelines.
- Ability to champion the adoption of new technologies through internal presentations, hackathons, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Exceptional reliability both in terms of willingness to follow through on commitments and minimizing unscheduled PTO.

By the end of your first month, you will have a strong grasp of our core products, team structure, and goals. You will have a firm understanding of development guidelines and rollout plan process. Your active participation in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies will showcase your understanding of the scrum methodology and commitment to teamwork.
Within 60 days, you will gain good understanding of our codebases, development processes, and database schemas. You will have participated in code reviews and identified potential application improvements.
After your first three months, you will have a solid understanding of our core business services and products. You will have a strong grasp of our existing common libraries, tools, and frameworks that our internal applications leverage and take ownership of those core / common platform tools.
