Velocity Pump Rental, a growing company serving the contractor, municipal, and industrial markets providing dewatering systems is looking for anOutside Sales Representativein Kansas City. We have been in the rental market for over 50 years and have strong, long-standing relationships with customers who know us for our powerful combination of leading product brands and applications expertise with a strong focus on developing comprehensive, sustainable solutions. Essential Responsibilities
- Generate profitable sales revenue by renting pumps and providing engineered pumping solutions for either short-term or long-term projects for the purpose of moving fluid
- Establishes new rental accounts through phone calls and in-person visits to potential customers
- Builds, develops, and grows client and vendor business relationships vital to the success of the rental business
- Present turnkey services to potential customers
- Ensures project plans and updates are well communicated to clients and internal staff
- Maintains knowledge of all rental products, pricing, terms, sales, and policies
