We currently have a role available for a Computational Chemist.
Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Experience with chemical information databases and data management systems (i.e. ChemDraw, etc.).
- Proficiency in data management software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Organizing and managing technical chemical information.
- Collecting and processing chemical data from various sources.
- Collaborating with chemists and other scientists to understand their data needs.
- Conducting chemical structure searches.
- Ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Purchasing and registering chemicals and chemical compounds.
Job requirements include, but are not limited to:
- BS-Chemistry, Bioinformatics or a related field with minimum of 3 years of industrial (pharma preferred) lab experience outside of academia. MS in the same fields with 2 years of industrial lab experience outside of academia will also be considered.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Works well both as a team and as an individual.
- Demonstration of a high level of learning agility and the ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
