We currently have a role available for an Analytical Chemist in a pharmaceutical research lab setting.
Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Designing, developing, and optimizing plate-based enzymatic assays for a wide range of targets to support research and development.
- Implementing robust assay protocols to evaluate enzyme activity, specificity, and inhibitor screening.
- Assisting in the development and optimization of bioconjugates stability assays and linker-payload release methods. Conducting linker-payload enzymatic release studies to evaluate the specificity of payload release.
- Preparing and maintaining reagents, buffers, and other laboratory supplies required for assays.
- Participating in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to assay performance.
- Working closely with discovery team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
Job requirements include, but are not limited to:
- BS- Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related fields with 3 years of industrial experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals. MS-Biochemistry or related field with 1 years of industrial experience will also be considered.
- Experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, mass spectrometry, and ELISA desired.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
- Works well both within a team and as an individual.
- Demonstration of excellent team player and collaboration skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
