Project Manager needed for a 6 Month Contract in Milwaukee, WI working hybrid!
Our client is seeking a candidate who can be a driver towards completing the known testing work and can work well with Business Partners. Someone that can manage task tracking related to the testing efforts, managing, and checking in with those responsible for the testing tasks and ensuring time frames are met. SAP Fiori and CATS helpful not required.
The ideal candidate will be high energy and focused on completing the project. They will be supporting the upcoming UAT for the time sheet updates. They will be coordinating with other groups once bugs and defects are ID'd and working through that process.
The candidate will be responsible for facilitating, organizing, and orchestrating live testing sessions with people at keyboards testing the new time sheets.
Ideal candidate can communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of stakeholders as well, top end of project participants to end users
This role is remote with on-site expectations of once per month (at minimum) to once per week (at maximum)
Project Type: Time upgrade project
- One portion related to supervisors has already gone live
- Current focus is on individualized timesheets and end-user use of timesheets
- System: SAP (Success Factors)
- Testing Focus: User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and live testing
Key Responsibilities
- Drive project to completion
- Work closely with multiple business partners, stakeholders, and cross-functional groups
- Track assigned tasks and ensure completion
- Maintain communication with task owners
- Ensure project timeframes are met
- Facilitate live testing (manual testing with users at keyboards)
- Organize and orchestrate application testing
- Identify defects/bugs and document issues
- Work with cross-functional groups to remedy bugs and facilitate fixes
Candidate Requirements Must-Have Skills:
- Proven project manager experience (7 years)
- Testing experience
- Driven personality with ability to keep project moving
- Able to work with multiple stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills
- "High effort individual " who is driven and able to get the project moving and completed on time
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- SAP experience (Fiori or CATS)
- Experience with timesheet or time system upgrades
- Experience with complex/variable timesheet design (manufacturing environments)
- Experience in utilities or energy sector
- Comfortable "getting hands dirty " and leading from the front
- Vetted candidates will be presented to the hiring manager
