Project Manager, Hardware Solutions

• Lead and manage the delivery of industrial automation system solution projects from project kickoff through project close-out

• Ensure that project deliverables align with the contract and proposed solution

• Develop and manage project budgets and ensure project is delivered within budget

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules and ensure project is delivered to agreed upon schedule

• Identify project risks and lead timely development of mitigation plans

• Hold internal and client stakeholders accountable to their project roles and responsibilities

• Identify and document deviations from original project scope and lead a change order process to ensure alignment with client on deliverable, schedule, and financial impact

• Manage a cross-functional team including panel fabrication and installation

• Communicate regularly with project stakeholders about key project activities (schedule, deliverables, coordination, risks, etc.)

• Effectively and quickly resolve conflict in a fair manner that balances the needs of multiple stakeholders

• Track and analyze key project execution metrics to drive efficient and quality delivery

• Procure hardware and software when required for the project

• Manage contracts with subcontractors to ensure delivery to agreed upon scope, schedule, and budget

• Manage invoices with client to ensure alignment with milestones and timely payment

• Advocate for the client within our company to ensure required resources are available to ensure efficient and quality project execution

• Develop a value-based relationship with the client that results in high client satisfaction and strengthens our partnership

• Identify additional solution opportunities at the client through conversations about their goals and objectives

• Motivate team members and foster positive outlook through difficult situations

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Identify, document, and communicate internal opportunities to improve our processes on future projects

• Support other project managers when hardware solutions are part of a turn-key solution

• Build relationships with vendors to support pricing strategies and alignment

• Manage Emergency Callouts and Engineering lead projects

• Execute Build-to-Print projects

• Support Inventory Specialists with any stock returns

• Power user and trainer of our business system
