Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Speech-Language Pathologist Consultant in Durham, NC!
Are you a dynamic, ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for helping children with I / DD achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life? We’re looking for a dedicated consultant to join our collaborative team in Durham, NC.
About the Role : In this innovative role, you’ll work alongside an interdisciplinary team including Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), and Recreation Therapy (Rec Therapy). Together, you'll help children with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve functional goals through community-based activities, fostering greater independence in their everyday lives.
As a consultant, you’ll be responsible for :
- Developing personalized, functional goals for clients
- Training and educating caregivers, clients, and natural supports on how to build skills and promote independence
- Providing expert guidance to support clients in living fuller, more meaningful lives
