We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Architect with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure Data Factory and a strong understanding of Supply Chain Management, particularly in the Consumer Goods sector. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that drive our company's success and positively impact society.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of data solutions using Azure Data Factory to meet business requirements.
Oversee the development and maintenance of data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity.
Provide technical expertise in data integration, transformation, and orchestration using Azure Data Factory.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of data solutions.
Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to junior team members to ensure best practices are followed.
Develop and maintain documentation for data solutions including architecture diagrams and technical specifications.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular updates on project progress.
Implement data governance and security measures to protect sensitive information.
Optimize data solutions for cost-efficiency and performance.
Drive innovation by exploring new tools and technologies to enhance data processing capabilities.

Qualifications

Possess a strong background in Azure Data Factory with hands-on experience in designing and implementing data solutions.

Have a solid understanding of Supply Chain Management, particularly in the Consumer Goods sector.

Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.

Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Show proficiency in data integration, transformation, and orchestration techniques.

Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and technologies.

Have experience in implementing data governance and security measures to protect sensitive information.

Possess the ability to optimize data solutions for cost-efficiency and performance.

Exhibit strong leadership skills to guide and mentor junior team members.

Demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data solutions.

Show a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues in data pipelines.

Have a track record of successfully delivering data projects on time and within budget.

Display a passion for driving innovation and exploring new tools and technologies.

Certifications Required

Azure Data Engineer Associate; Supply Chain Management Certification (nice to have).

Salary and Other Compensation : Applications will be accepted until Jan 4th, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $120K - $180K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
