We are seeking an expert Architect with 12 to 15 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Databricks SQL Databricks Delta Lake Databricks Workflows and PySpark. Experience in the Payer domain is a plus. The role is hybrid with day shifts and no travel required.

• Own the design and implementation of scalable data architectures using Databricks SQL Databricks Delta Lake and Databricks Workflows.
• Be responsible for the development and optimization of data pipelines and workflows to ensure efficient data processing and integration.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team on standard methodologies for using Databricks and PySpark.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data validation and monitoring processes.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data architectures workflows and processes.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data processing jobs to meet SLAs.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Databricks and related technologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code.
• Fix and resolve issues related to data processing and workflows in a timely manner.
• Work closely with team members to ensure alignment of data solutions with business goals.
• Supply to the development of data governance policies and procedures.
• Drive innovation by exploring new tools and technologies to improve data processing capabilities.

• Must have extensive experience with Databricks SQL Databricks Delta Lake Databricks Workflows and PySpark.
• Should have a solid understanding of data architecture principles and standard processes.
• Nice to have experience in the Payer domain.
• Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Should have good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must have the ability to work in a hybrid work model.
• Should have a proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
• Must have a track record of delivering high-quality data solutions.
• Should have experience with performance tuning and optimization of data processing jobs.

The annual salary for this position is depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
